Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has awarded Petrofac an engineering, procurement and construction services contract for a 140-km gas pipeline to link KOC’s Booster Station 131 in north Kuwait to its LPG plant at the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery.
The lump sum contract is valued at $US543 million. Petrofac said work will start shortly with the project expected to be completed in about 21 months.
