July Personnel Changes: Ledcor, Mears, Wood Group and more
Tom Lassu, president Ledcor Contractors Ltd., announced the appointment of Kevin Cater as president of Ledcor Pipeline Inc. He willoversee Ledcor’s pipeline operations in the U.S. and work out of the Houston office.
Several high-profile pipeline industry professionals have recently joined the Mears team, further enhancing Mears Group’s status as an industry leader in providing pipeline integrity services, according to Mark Gluskin, senior vice president for Mears’ Pipeline Integrity Group. Kevin C. Garrity, P.E, has accepted the position of vice president and will oversee special projects and developing new markets for Mears worldwide. Aida Lopez-Garrity, P.E. Eng. has joined as director and will be responsible for client development. Nicholas Ashcraft is the new manager of technical services responsible for managing the training and R&D facility, OQ program and engineering development. Brad Leonard is the pipeline integrity specialist. He has experience in pipeline integrity and materials in both liquid and gas transmission industries worldwde.
Alliance Wood Group Engineering, part of the John Wood Group PLC, has promoted two employees to its senior management team. Edmund-Hugo Lunde was named chief operating officer and Dan Dutherage vice president of business development and marketing.
Atmos Energy Corp. elected Robert C. Grable to its board of directors, increasing the board's size to 14. He will serve on the Audit and Human Resources Committees.
Avista Corp. named Jason Thackston vice president of finance. He will retain responsibilities in corporate development and investor relations. Thackston has been with Avista for 13 years with leadership positions in energy resources, resource accounting and financial planning.
Colfax Corporation’s Dave McKinstry, vice president of business development and special projects, has received the Hydraulic Institute’s (HI) lifetime achievement award. HI’s board of directors presents the award to a professional who has worked to promote pump technology during his career.
Flotek Industries Inc. named Scott D. Stanton as vice president of Finance and chief accounting officer. Stanton is a CPA.
IronPlanet®, an online auction company for used construction and agricultural equipment, named Chad Groves managing director of IronPlanet Australia.
EagleBurgmann U.S. has named Marcus Pillion president. Pillion will be responsible for the operational performance of this subsidiary and represent the company in the Houston area.
Grady Wilkerson has been promoted to vice president of Sales at Victaulic. He will help to develop and increase the company’s presence in the global oil, gas and chemical markets.
Griffith R. Morris has joined FMI’s Utilities Market Group as managing director of Utility Business Development. Morris has four decades of servicing utilities, regulatory authorities and industrial companies.
Freddy Gebhardt was named president of Wild Well Control Inc. Gebhardt has served as executive as vice president and general manager since 2005.
